Property Professionals Pictures and Bios

I first started in the Multifamily Industry on the ILS side with Apartments.com then ForRent.com. From there I went to the Property Management side and began leasing/sales with Village Green. While at Village Green, I worked my way up to Senior Sales Manager. With City Club Apartments I transitioned to Operations as a Property Manager. For the past two and a half I have been with Dominion Realty Services as the Community Manager at Stratford Place Apartments at Brownstown. I previously was on the Board of Directors with the DMAA and worked to kickstart the Next Generation Committee back in 2017. Since being back on the Board this past year, I have enjoyed seeing the growth not only in our numbers, but membership involvement! Now that dust is settling and we are getting back to our new normal, I hope to be apart of the Board of Directors to help continue to grow membership, engage current members, and work to make the DMAA a great organization to be apart of.

With over 15 years in property management, I am a Regional Manager for Continental Management. I am a Board of Director for the DMAA and serves
on the Membership and Next Gen committee.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University; I also have a real estate license and several designations (ARM, CPM, CAM, COS, CAMT).
I love the DMAA and working in property management. I look forward to the continued growth and success of our industry.

My name is Kris Buboltz (pronounced; Boobaltz) □
I am the Property Manager at Sterling Commons Apartments/Lombardo Property Management.
I have been in the industry for about 6 years. I was in the medical field previously and a sweet friend from High School told me about the Multifamily Industry.
She said I would love it! 6 years later I have been in a few different roles with 3 companies and I am thrilled to be in a leadership role and I am excited about what I can do and where this industry might take me!
I am learning to love budget season, planning the next wonderful thing for our community and keeping residents and the owner happy!
On my off time; I am married, for almost a year, to the best man I have ever known. 2 grown kids between us.
I have an identical twin sister, a younger brother and a huge support system of friends and family.
I am also an amateur gold prospector and pretty good at panning for gold. It’s so fun! I have found gold all over Michigan and once even in Ohio.

My name is Corinne Russo. I am from Grand Rapids, MI, and moved to Metro Detroit in 2014. I have been in the property management industry and with Village Green Management for 8.5 years. I started at the property level as a manager-in-training and then as a sales consultant. I came to work in the corporate office in 2016 as an administrator. I also currently serve as the nexgen vice chair at the DMAA. "I'm really excited to collaborate and learn more about the industry!"

A short statement on why you would be a good fit for the DMAA. –
After about 12 years of involvement with the DMAA and serving on the 2021/2022 board of directors, I would like to continue giving back to the association by volunteering my time on the board. My first term on the board went by so quickly. I want to utilize what I have learned during the first term in the upcoming years. Besides what I have learned, I am also a good fit for a board position because I always keep the best interest of all association members and have an open mind to fresh new ideas.

Currently, I am Vice Chair of our Supplier Council where we actively promote opportunities for our supplier members to be more visible in the DMAA Community. I have also participated in the DMAA Membership Committee, was elected to the Property Management Association of Michigan (PMAM) Board of Directors, PAC Committee Chair, and a member of the GLAStar Committee. I entered the restoration field in 2019, with zero experience or connections. To be honest, I didn’t even really understand what restoration was, fully. I had been a nanny since I was 20. After having my Son in 2018, I wanted a new challenge in my professional life. With a little luck, I fell into a field that I grew to love. A few months into my new position, I joined the DMAA. It took a few months for me to really understand what the DMAA was all about and the benefits of being a member. I slowly started to attend events (even if I was hiding in the corner - observing). Once I joined a committee, I really fell in love with the DMAA. Since then, I have joined a number of committees State-wide, as well as stepping into the role of Chairperson for the Membership Committee.
I would love to sit on the BOD to not only grow in my own profession but to advocate the best I can for the multifamily industry in Michigan. I Feel such a sense of camaraderie and belonging within the DMAA, and seeing it grow bigger and better every year is a pretty cool thing. I want to be as involved as possible to make the DMAA the best organization it can be.
