Mission Statement:
The premier partner serving and inspiring everyone in the multifamily housing industry
About Us:
The Detroit Metropolitan Apartment Association is the leading voice for Southeast Michigan’s multifamily housing industry. We are a 501(c)6 Non-Profit trade currently representing apartment homes in Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Lapeer, and St. Clair counties - making the DMAA the largest multifamily housing association in the state of Michigan at over 102,000 units and growing. We uphold high ethical standards and promote integrity, professionalism, and strong relationships between property professionals and the communities they serve.
As a trusted advocate, we represent owners and management companies at the local, state, and national levels. Our comprehensive education programs, including nationally recognized designations, help members grow professionally. We also foster strong connections between our housing providers and Supplier Partner members — trusted vendors who support the industry with essential products and services. Our mission is to be the premier partner that serves and inspires professionals across every sector of the multifamily housing community.
