Designation Programs

As part of the DMAA, members have access to nationally recognized designation programs created by the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI). These designation programs have been designed for various roles in the multifamily housing industry from Maintenance Technicians to Suppliers who work with our Property Professional members.

NAA Leadership Programs

20 on the Rise

The National Apartment Association's 20 on the Rise celebrates the brightest rising stars with 10 years or less experience in the rental housing industry at the industry's largest event, Apartmentalize. As a dynamic career builder, you have already made major professional strides and demonstrate the potential to go far every day.

Diversity Leadership Program

NAA’s Diversity Leadership Program (DLP) provides up to 15 individuals of diverse backgrounds an opportunity to develop as rental housing industry leaders for free, in a hybrid setting. With a complimentary registration to Apartmentalize, NAA’s largest rental housing conference, you’ll have a chance to network with your mentor, the rest of your DLP and the entire rental housing industry!

Leadership Lycenum

NAA’s Leadership Lyceum provides up to 37 individuals with an opportunity to develop as inspired, empowered, and informed emerging volunteer leaders in the rental housing industry for all active NAA members. With appointed graduates representing NAA’s 10 regions, this immersive and collaborative program equips active NAA volunteer leaders with the skills, confidence, and opportunity to network and share experiences on a state, local, and national level. Participants will gain a diverse and well-rounded perspective from their classmates that helps create more inclusive working environments throughout the industry. In addition to earning 8 CECs upon completion of the program and participating on a local or national committee, you’ll get the chance to show off your new knowledge and skills at three sessions held during NAA’s Advocate, Apartmentalize, and Assembly of Delegates.

Maintenance Legends

Celebrate maintenance professionals with MAINTENANCE LEGENDS™, a program from NAA and HD Supply, featuring stories that make them legendary! Three winners will be selected each month for their tales of going above and beyond for their rental housing communities. At the end of each season, one Maintenance Legend will drive away with an amazing grand prize.
