Legislative Committee

The DMAA has a very active local legislative program monitoring all cities residing in Lapeer, Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair and Wayne counties. We proactively scan for legislation that will adversely affect the apartment industry in the metro Detroit region. The Legislative Committee also fund-raises for the National Apartment Association Political Action Committee, and serves as a liaison to the Property Management Association of Michigan's Legislative Committee; who works to further the goals of the industry statewide.

The Legislative Committee meets the last Thursday of every other month at 4:00pm via scheduled Zoom Conference.
